Gé. Pellini is a French sculptor born in 1966 in Nancy, where he lives and works to this day.
In his work he follows the «Less is more» principle by eliminating the unnecessary details from the figures he represents. Thus he crafts bold animals such as rhinos and bulls with enlarged horns and flexible lines, where the main and pure lines are highlighted by the shades. By doing this, the artist succeeds in capturing the real essence of his subjects all the while avoiding complexity.
Pellini realizes his sculptures in the finest marble, bronze, aluminum or resin. His work can be represented by two aphorisms of the artist: « Technique can’t dominate art », « t o reach plainness one has to be right ».
Pellini exhibited all around the world, mostly in France but also in Italy, Morocco, China, Poland, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, and participated in numerous art fairs.
