ASSA

 AssA

AssA (Lvov, 1985) is a France based artist, graduated at the School of the Applied Art of Nice. Since 2019 she has been participating in solo and collective exhibitions throughout France, Italy, Monaco and Japan; she is also a painter-member of the National Committee of Monaco of the International Association of Plastic Arts to UNESCO under the patronage of Prince Albert II.
Her artworks are a weave of colours, ornaments, cultures, eras: portraits of human beings and animal figures are painted with extreme realism and are the basis of a very deep artistic research. This discovery is made through the observation of the little things, such as a leaf dancing with the wind, or a flock of birds creating shapes in the sky. The energy of the world and of the nature is triggering in the works of AssA as a spark that leads the observer to pass from the detail of the colour or the look of the portrayed, to perceive the rhythm of the whole universe.
To the existential questions of adult life, AssA seeks answers through travel, studying different cultures, lifestyles, traditions, but also through the analysis of the artists of the past. This path of research reflects on the artworks of AssA, and at the same time is intrinsic to it.

Essentially, the ideal (initially fleeting and negligible small idea) turs into something material, capable of outliving its creator for hundreds of years.
