Gé. Pellini is a French sculptor who was born in 1966 in Nancy, where he lives and works today.
In his work he follows the «Less is more» principle, he eliminates the unnecessary details from the figures he represents. He obtains bold animals such as rhinos and bulls with enlarged horns and flexible lines, where the main and pure lines are highlighted by the shades. In this way, the artist succeeds in capturing the real essence of his subjects avoiding complexity.
Pellini realizes his sculptures in the finest marble, bronze, aluminium or resin. His work can be represented by two aphorisms of the artist: «Technique can’t dominate art», «to reach plainness one has to be right».
Pellini exhibited all around the world, mostly in France but also in Italy, Morocco, China, Poland, Turkey, Belgium, Germany, and he participated in numerous art fairs.
