Marika Vicari was born in Vicenza in 1979. Today she lives and works in Creazo, Italy. She graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and continued her post-graduate studies in Projection and Production of Visual Arts at the Faculty of Design, IUAV, in Venice. The artist's works consist of graphite installations on paper and wood, and represent natural landscapes and woods; sometimes deserted, sometimes melancholy, Marika Vicari easily creates an atmosphere of quiet and calm . The observer can therefore take refuge in her paintings to escape from the chaotic everyday life of the city.
She has exhibited in Italy and abroad, such as at the National Gallery in Prague, at the Kro Art Gallery in Vienna, at Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, and participated in well-known international fairs.
