Jisbar X Sist'Art X Glam of Enrico Bartolini

Jisbar is undoubtedly one of the best known and most appreciated young artists in the world . In a short time he conquered an important role within the contemporary art market, thanks also to important collaborations and his early presence in national and international museums.

The French artist has in fact managed to create a completely personal and easily recognizable figurative language, which consists in the fusion of pop art with street art and in the use of different techniques that combine to formulate his urban style . The strength of his creative language has also led to a large media following: Jisbar is now very popular for a transversal audience, from the youngest lovers of art and his life style to an age group that feels represented by its brilliant breakup of classicism.

Jisbar's works always represent an iconic and easily recognizable subject, sometimes taken from the masterpieces of art history, other times part of mass culture (cinema, cartoons, historical characters). The artist, after having depicted a main subject, uses the canvas as a wall and covers it with writings, symbols and drawings that can often be traced back to the everyday life of each of us. For example, we find the shopping list, wifi codes, iconic phrases in common use, pieces of musical texts, artist's intuitions, etc.

On 1 October 2022, at the gallery in Piazza San Marco, the exclusive event of Jisbar for Sist'Art Gallery will be held: UNWRAP. Exclusive works will be exhibited at the event, never before presented to the public.

UNWRAP is not just the title of the event, but a hint of what will happen: unique works that will be revealed to those present through a movement that is both physical and conceptual . The presence of the artist brings down that invisible wall that divides the viewer from the work and its meaning, but not only that, even the barrier that exists between reality and representation will be torn away in the act of unpacking the canvases

Parallel to the show, Jisbar's works will be present for two months in the halls of the multi-starred chef Enrico Bartolini's Venetian restaurant, thanks to the collaboration between GLAM and Sist'Art.

The French artist's use of bright, saturated and well-balanced colors, together with the use of different techniques and media, fits in perfectly with the experimental cuisine of chef Donato Ascani. For the chef, in fact, the dish must be conceived and treated almost as if it were a work on canvas: the composition of the ingredients is the real culinary challenge, knowing how to balance textures and flavors without neglecting the relationship between form and content, appearance and substance, what my eyes see and what my taste buds perceive.
